Friendlyware started supporting Sydney ENT Clinic on 2009 after they required an upgrade of their server and network needs at the time. Since then we have been involved in the continuous growth of their professional services by providing IT support to staff and with most aspects involving the software applications used as well as communication requirements (email, internet, VPN, wi-fi).
The Sydney ENT Clinic in Darlinghurst and Hurstville, offers specialised surgical care in otology, rhinology, skull base, and head & neck surgery by expert fellowship-trained surgeons.

The Problem
The clinic opened brand-new rooms in 2017 in Hurstville and Friendlyware were brought in to look after the IT planning, installation and configuration.
The Challenge
With specialists working across the three practises and sharing resources, they needed to be able to have secure and reliable access to their patient data, hardware and medical software from any practice as well as remotely.
The Solution
Friendlyware installed high-spec routers and switches that could handle the high volume of data and provide maximum security. Friendlyware then set up a secure VPN connection allowing staff to access resources across the three locations from anywhere. This allowed the surgeons and administrative staff to easily work within one system ensuring security and ease of use.
