Founder, Consultant
Born in Germany, Ralf studied information technology at University just as the first Computers were being developed. After moving to Australia in 1982 working as a Engineer at both Olympia and Bosch, Ralf founded Friendlyware in 1990.

Office Manager, Partner
Joel is the longest serving team member at Friendlyware and as a Partner wears many hats including as Finance Manager and IT Engineer. He loves helping people with their IT challenges and keeping across the latest IT trends. He’s also an expert Dragon Boat paddler.
Joel Alfonso
Service Engineer, Partner
Oliver is a Senior Service Engineer and Partner and has been at Friendlyware since 2011. He loves the variety of challenges that IT provides and helping our customers. He started his IT career in Austria before moving to Australia for a new challenge. Oliver is a keen mountain biker and on weekends can be found on the trails around Sydney.

James has been at Friendlyware as a Senior Service Engineer since 2012 and is now one of the Partners. His curiosity first got him into the world of IT where he enjoys solving complex engineering problems. His curiosity also sparked his love of music having learnt to play four different instruments!

Franklin has over 15 years of experience in helping business’s utilise their IT effectively. Although he is an IT all-rounder, he has a specialisation in Networking. He has been a Friendlyware Team member since 2017 and is our go-to source for Restaurant recommendations around Sydney.

Stefan joins Friendlyware Partners after starting his career in the marketing and advertising world as a project manager. After building his experience working on marketing campaigns and website developments in Australia and Germany he returns to Friendlyware where he had started his very first job at the age of 10 – assembling computers.

Evelyn (FKA Courtney) first feel in love with computers in high-school and decided to turn a hobby into a career. She enjoys finding solutions to make technology work seamlessly for the user. On the weekend Evelyn keeps her neighbours' entertained with epic drum solos.

Accounts Officer
Carmen is the Bookkeeper and Administrator at Friendlyware having joined the team in 2012. She has a strong artistic side with a love for sketching, photography and graphic design.

Senior Technician
Tristan has over 7 years of experience as a support technician with specialist knowledge in Servers. He enjoys IT support as it blends both helping people and solving complex technical problems. Outside of IT, Tristan is a keen footballer and long-suffering Arsenal Fan.

Jake thrives on helping customers use technology to organise their work and create clarity. Beyond work, he finds solace and camraderie in dragon boating, reflecting his love for teamwork and adventure.

Tim has 10 years of experience helping small businesses get the most out of their IT. He enjoys getting stuck into a tricky problem and finding the right fix for each customer. Off the clock, Tim's a die-hard Manly supporter and can usually be found losing himself in a good story-driven video game.
